AoC Franchise
I've been re watching streams and was listening more carefully to the franchise discussion between Deathproxy and Steven.
Steven’s opinion
“This story that we are bringing to life with Ashes of Creation, is a very in depth one, it has a lot of different aspects to it, and I personally, you know when diving into making Intrepid Studios, and bringing Ashes of Creation to life with this amazing team here, I knew from the get go, this was going to be a franchise, I knew that this IP that we are creating with Ashes of Creation is going to be revealed in many different ways and will have a lot of different components that people can just eat up, and I want to do that with a lot of different aspects, not just Ashes of Creation, but it's important to note that Ashes of Creation is the flagship, the dedicated ride, this is what we are bringing to the market to represent the story that will have a greater franchise and you’re going to see an amazing mmorpg out of our story. “
JEFFERY adds “And then once that happens we move onto our other products we’re considering and discussing in the studio already that “There is parts of the story that we can’t really tell in the mmo. There is timelines that are occurring in multiple different places that we want to focus on and we want to be able to tell BUT WE CAN’T JUST TELL IN THIS ONE GAME~
STEVEN : “And there are Heros and Villains we want to focus on but can not necessarily be told in the mmorpg”
So what type of other games do you think we will see? Would you play other Intrepid games if they were not an mmorpg? Would you be a streamer of these games?
What ya all think ^^

Poem of Ashenguard
- Game set on the original world... Maybe a survival horror or interactive movie game.
- Game centered around the Tulnar... Possibly a MOBA, tabletop or CCG.
- Game set on the non-magical planet... RTS, FPS, or survival type game.
And of course a few years down the track... Ashes the movie starring the heroic mage Lexmax!ANYWAY, we know nothing about the game's heroes and villains. And I don't think they will have too much of an impact at the beginning.
Thus, they'll have plenty of time to think this through and develop what they need to or write some books about the past of the world we're all so eager to step in.
The next step after that is usually micro-transactions for P2W.
On the serious side, yeah the books, likely digital since this is modern age, but with some amount of "paper" collector editions available.
Perhaps some other games of different genres, I'd place here a classic offline single player RPG, then perhaps even some adventure or puzzle games, maybe something else.
The ultimate addition would come in form of TV series (many seasons to come) that we would become ultimate fans of, have special greeting and everything.
It's sole flaw is that it's single-player only.
Back in the day, I enjoyed playing Champions of Norrath - both releases.
I'm all about story, so I might be interested in playing through a single-player RPG steeped in Ashes lore.
I would not play an FPS or MOBA.
I don't think I would play a card game like Legends of Norrath.
I might play a board game similar to Talisman.
I would almost definitely play an Ashes version of Fortnite.
