Be still my heart, the description of the goal for this MMO is the closest I've ever been to my ideal!
I'm L, or Mister L if we're doing business.
I consider myself a roleplayer first and a gamer second, especially where MMOs are concerned. A great community where people strive to know and communicate with others will always draw me in faster than any game with automatching.
A few of my favorite MMOs over the years - Ultima Online, Shadowbane, FFXI, Archeage (minus the cash store :C), and DAoC. Others were too focused on the "Heroic Tale" of several million individuals to ever become immersive to me.
As far as AoC goes, I would love to join/create a more social guild, preferably one on the hardcore side of things. Not necessarily a RP guild, just one where the members realize they are part of a community and do their part to earn the bonuses that come from membership.
I look forward to following the development and hopeful success of this game with the rest of you!
