Will there be waifus?

Hi, so I woke up and a thought hit my head. Maybe they said something about this in one of the streams, I don't remember, probably not. 

So, do you think we'll be able to have our own waifu in our households? In that, I mean an NPC that would help us take care of the house and such things. Like a maid (can be reptilian).  Maybe even customization for them, like looks, clothes. I think that would highly help with, like, you know, immersion... 

What do you think and would like to see? 

Also, I'm asking this for a friend and not because at least for once in my life I want to have someone to wait for me when I come home from an adventure. Greet me in the flower garden, reading a book in her rocking chair...

    Maybe it is my bias from having lived in Japan for the last 20 years, but everytime I see the particular sub-culture using the terms waifus, I just lump you all together with the others that are into **** and tentacle porn. Is this what you were looking for in your medieval/magic fantasy game?

    Yes, in game marriage confirmed multiple times. No information on bonuses/restrictions as of yet.

    20 years? Damn, that's awesome! Do you still live there? I went to Japan for 2 weeks in the summer of 2016, the best holiday i've ever had. I really like the architecture and the people there!

    Nope, but like I said, when I see people use that spelling Waifu and have usernames with Sempai or Kimono or Ninja my brain just translates them into Weeaboo.

    Don't get me wrong. If that is your thing, go for it. I could care less if you want to rub a body part against trees, or injecting Jello into your ear canal does it for you. Sub-cultures contribute to a varied and interesting life. Nothing wrong with liking anime, or being interested in another countries culture, like all things in life, there are some that just take it too far.

    Well this discussion turned to a completely different category than I wanted it to xD lul. I did not mean anything sexual or perverted in any way. And yea, they did say you can marry another player, but what I was wondering was if there would be NPC that you can have in your households and interact with them. Again, nothing in any way sexual as System Error is so bluntly suggesting :D .

    Idk about Maids or waifus or **** o x o. But yes, there are NPC's that will be available to hire on your freehold.
