Full Loot or Protected Loot?

Sorry if this has been brought up before,but  I am brand new to the boards and have only seen a couple videos(but they definitely piqued my interest!) For PVP, will it be full loot off bodies, or will there be protected loot? I know caravans will work that if the attackers win, they can loot the caravan. Thanks in advance!

There is no full loot mechanic. People who flag green or purple in the open world have a chance to drop a percentage of gathered materials (not processed or crafted). Those under the effects of corruption have a chance to drop/destroy gear based on their level of corruption. Caravan looting will be in the form of shares that can be turned in at a kiosk to claim your part of the loot. The flagging system is explained here:
