Dropping inventory items

Regarding the mention of dropping items on the ground from inventory,

and that these items would appear on the floor. On stream you said this

would not be possible by type of game mechanics, however, Would it be

possible to have this in a kind of manor like in survival games. That

you have a bag on the ground with items in it that you dropped on the

floor. And this would be able to loot by anybody(after some time).

    Having a weird sense of deja vu. Like I saw and commented on this exact same post by the exact same person two days ago. Oh well, lets give it another shot. Your simple answer is NO for a couple of reasons. People could use the mechanic to get around the tracking system for trades, thus invalidating all the checks that they have worked so hard on and causing Panopticon to cry since they wouldn't be getting those fees for blocking RMT. Since objects in game have collision, it could be used to block access to areas by dedicated idiots say for example stacking 50 chairs at the front of a cave. And the list goes on.
