Monthly fee doing alpha / beta

Hello AOC 

I could not find any info on this myself, so i was hoping someone could enlighten me. 

As far as i can tell the game is still in alpha correct?
Does it require a monthly fee (15 dollars) while doing alpha / beta testing? 
Or if i buy the alpha key for 250$ can i payout without paying any monthly fee until the game is comes out?

Ashes of Creation is currently in pre-alpha. The first alpha release is scheduled for December 15 this year.

Welcome to our community! There will be other campaigns over the months etc that will offer alpha and beta keys If you buy an alpha pack you won't pay anything until launch
Ashes also offers a referral system https://www.ashesofcreation.com/refer/ in which if you share your own personal link with friends, and they sign up using your link and play Ashes of Creation etc then you earn 15% of their monthly sub and whatever purchases they make. You need atleast 7 playing referrals to reduce your own sub to 0

As others have shared, the game is still pre-alpha. The key packages available for PAX are all inclusive and require no additional sub time. Alpha 2 is persistent so access to server will last as the permanent test server even post go-live. We can also confirm that the alpha package does include access to all phases of beta as well
