In-game Gambling

I quite like that this became a feature in the game! This will be a great distraction (or crippling addiction) for me! When gambling... its all about the stakes. So, is there a possiblity that not only gold, but items, say in a custom gambling match with another player, can be wagered? Or maybe... the deed to a players free-hold? hehehe. Will slot machines be in game? Can the tavern owner set the win rate? lol...
Should there be a restriction on gambling amounts to prevent huge losses from players? Because losing ALL the gold you have on your account can make you want to uninstall...
Will a level 1 player be able to gamble? That might bring about mule accounts that are made to trade gold to pose no risk to the actual gold trader/seller.
What will stop players from spending hours gambling instead of playing/exploring? Won't players find it easier to risk gambling their gold instead of having to farm, kill mobs, craft and quest for it?

They will have pub games (see Kickstart stretch goals) and gambling is a logical next step. I always play games of chance with my guild and friends in any MMO, mostly by /roll and betting gold.
Sometimes we bet on who is the first to die in PvP, or my favorite, If your Name is Karthos and you roll a 1-100, you win.
2. Gamble cash amount per day should be CAPPED for players, to prevent players loosing everything at once and then spamming support with complain tickets. And trust me even if rules are clear, that would still happen. People would claim their children played on their account and lost it all for them and various other reasons, and support would be swarmed with tickets.
3. Other mechanics to track gambling should be introduced to be able to spot and react on possible abuses.
2. Terms of Service usually has a clause that "only you, the creator of the account is allowed to play on it and if you give password away, the company is not responsible"
So true, they would get spammed with tickets, but excuse wouldn't work.
3. What kind of abuses? To have money to gamble you have to earn it, so if you run out, you will have to earn it all over again from "scratch".
I don't think there should be limits on in game currency loss for gambling. The players that are willing to "go big or go home" will complain if they lose everything and they will complain if they can't bet everything so...
I agree with @Ziltch, ToS should render any complaints useless. I don't know if adding a currency gambled/lost limit will reduce the number of complaints any more or less than peeps actually reading the ToS though...
The fact that noted complaining tickets wouldn't be approved, this still doesn't absolve support from having to read and answer them and lose time that would better be spent working on more important problems.
This is why I would limit the amount you can gamble per day.
In the end this should be fantasy PvX MMO, and not a casino.
Loses account, computer hacked, real money gone....
So sad
