Phase I of Alpha Two testing will occur on weekends. Each weekend is scheduled to start on Fridays at 10 AM PT and end on Sundays at 10 PM PT. Find out more here.

If you are lucky enough to win a beta key or are a supporter via kickstarter or Ashes homepage support would you like to see progress earned through alpha saved and continued on live servers?

    It still gives them an advantage and either everyone's gonna be on that server because their guild wants them to be since some of the members will already have progressed or they would be alone because no one wants to play with those who are insanely far ahead.

    I never understood the need to have Alpha or Beta progress carry over. You are essentially splitting the community into two groups.

    Those who are months ahead and those who are are months behind. 

    A majority of the community is going to be in the second group. And they will be competing against guilds and players with end game gear in day one. 

    Wipe it. Let the community grow organically together.

    Soooo basically you want to be rewarded for being selected ( happy few ) to starting early, and as punishment for us less fortunate that do not possess a key be able to keep your progress!

    No .... just NO! sorry but alpha and beta is for testing and testing only! i have no problem that they chose a set server at some point in late OPEN beta to be launched with progress already made and saved! ( if this is only one server you would have a problem cause in witch time zone will this server be? you would need at least 3 set servers then EU, NA and oceanic )

    But for those that start fresh during launch i expect the server of their choosing to be completely untouched and defiantly every one having the same chances with out any one having a head start! In no way would it otherwise be fair!

    I think some people forget what testing means. Its nice that you earned your key, but don't forget the task in front of you! You now play a vital roll in the development of the game! Its your job to report bugs, game breaking mechanics, slow working or otherwise not well playing design flaws/errors and describe them in detail for the dev team to work on! I fully expect that the game might not even be enjoyable as of right yet, since its in full scale development! ( some people with a early alpha key just might be in shock with what they get to play come december. ill say this what ever you do, don't let the state of the game by then deter you, or let you think that its anything like the end product! )

    I know its just my opinion but if they would choose otherwise and let alpha/early beta testers keep progress on fresh servers, it would feel like a huge let down by intrepid Studios from my point of view!

    No, Alphas and Betas are for testing purposes only and all data is wiped after the test is finished.

    The Official stance is that there will be no carry over between phases. So not sure why the poll?
