Forum Feature Poll: Dev tracker

Several members of the Community have expressed interest in the implementation of a Dev tracker tool on the Official Forums. This is a feature that would allow for quick search / location of posts made by the Intrepid Staff team. The purpose of this poll is to gauge interest of the Community at large for this feature.
Thank you for your participation <3

So far we've had @AeonAuron doing that as best he can, and I really appreciate that; but an official one would be awesome.
  • I see why not. It would help in informing people as well as shorten the time to find sources.
  • In the upcomming months, and with a new community manager on the horizon, sounds like an excelent idea!
  • To be frank, I'd like to vote for "it shouldn't even be a poll." That ought to be a must.
  • It would be a great help for the new players as we do often see the same type of questions being asked regularly.
  • It would help bring some order to the forums.  New people join each day and often the same questions are asked.

Please for the love of me do this
  • Hi,

I plan on adding that to the AOC forum extension soon!   There will be a link to look at comments from the different people we are tracking, and then it'll change the color of those people's names as well.

Check out the extension here and get the automatic update when it's out!

We have that in Discord #intrepid_answers actually. @Shunex has done an exceptional job in working to maintain that for us.
  • Absolutely, dev trackers are incredibly useful, the forum in its entirety could be looked at to be honest :)
  • Oh Baby! Give it to me <3
  • Gues its a yes xD
  • Anything that helps the community clearly see the word of Steven is a great thing.
  • I guess a no means its time wasted?
Seeing dev responses is always great to keep track of official information for people who aren't as active.
  • Yes! I like to just easily find what the devs officially say, instead of hearsay/ rumors and trying to find the quotes.
  • C Mon we need this like yesterday
  • One tiny, smallest, infinitesimal detail to consider ..... the DEVs typically post in discord. So we do have that hurdle to think about guys.

Typically as in almost never here. And what they have posted to discord has been nothing quoteworthy information-wise other than unless Steven says it, it doesn't count. Do a search for the other devs and for example you have the last interaction by Jeffrey Bard back in April commenting about neckbeards. So while a Dev Tracker would be a welcome addition, if they don't post anything, doesn't really matter.

    What another false idol.

  • They need to post here more, Discord is such a bitch to navigate, I usually don't even bother, forums are much more, read it in the morning like a newspaper, armed with a cup of tea/coffee.
