I realized the Halloween even doesn't have an entry limit, so I moved the story to the appropriate thread.

P.S.  We need a way to delete our threads.  :)

    Thanks! I'll probably re-write it to flesh it out a bit. Trying to stay near 1000 words always makes me feel rushed, and reading it again today, that very much comes across in my writing.
