What events do you want to see in a guild?

As the title states, what events would you like to see in a guild?
I'm currently composing a guild and I would like to see what the ashes community would like to see in a guild.
By no means is this a recruitment.

So besides your Pvp and Pve weekly groups, what other groups and events would you like to see your guild do?

I had a few in mind,
Treasure Hunting (Items, gear, mounts, you name it)
Material Hunting (bad name but basically finding the spawns for your mats)
Power Gearing (gearing alts/gearing other guild members)

ideas are limitless, lets see what you have!

  • A 40 man guild raid comes to mind. Guilds should get to do these type of raids a lot faster, vs waiting in open world QUEs, but not limited to only guild members doing it. Just an idea.
  • The best guilds i've been in have been the ones that take care of both -the guildies and the guild. Devotion to collecting guild resources sometimes overshadows the interests of what the individuals need so i'm hopeful that there will be a good balance of planned events and resource sharing that takes into account both.

    Having planned times where people gather - without a set goal can be a great kickstart to getting side projects done.
  • @Granthor that would be cool to see.
    @arrachne I totally agree, I'd like so see mats being used consistently throughout the lifetime of Ashes, I feel resources/mats hold a value as should the crafter (since theyve said it a few times about crafting being a big thing in game), thats why in our guild we're putting a point value on just about everything so everyone from crafters, gathers, raiders to pvpers have a value in our guild.
  • Since they talked about a battle planner, i would love to have some sort of scheme in the guild that just gets visible for the members once the battle in the guild vs guild is going to happen or any battle.

    To see where they need to position and what the tactics are.

    Also hope to see a lot of customization in the ranks which they already stated.

    Maybe some graph systems that allows the members to see what the guild ingame goals atm are and they can contribute to it.


  • PVP events mostly. Guild means PVP to me, a group of people that I can call to fight, or to be called to fight. So Guild fights in arena, or in map is fun. But of course, I don't wanna spend my entire time grinding on PVP. It's just a thing that I enroll if I feel like to do. Also a Guild master should help to fellow guild members create a group like selecting PVP teams, PVE teams and Gathering teams so all member can do something with their own level. This'd be also fun. But that material gathering thing is going out of control that Guild Elites takes all the goods to themselves, being selfish and mean which I do not approach those kind of things. 

    Also creating a conversation/debate media in guild is important so that people can befriend each other and talk to each other better, so like providing events that guildmembers can gather just for the moment of fun and goofing around.
  • I would like it if the Guild had rooms that people could rent/ have depending on size of the guild. Or something similar to "If you are part of a guild for x amount of time you receive x points." These points could get you a room in the guild. The point of the rooms would be to have chests, Wardrobes, or storage containers to hold all the extra stuff you obtain(because I assume the inventory will not be that large). For people like me(who hoard everything and never get rid of things) this would be amazing.

  • So everyone coming up with stuff only relating to the game itself and not thinking outside the box. What I used to do in tera with a bunch of guilds (usually 400+ people) is offer up a reward to anyone that can find me in a certain region. Had one reward of 100k gold and I hid in Velika for an hour and nobody found me so nobody got the reward. I hid in a group of ERPers :smile:

  • I do like the idea of treasure hunts, mob hunts and maybe a pub crawl (in game)
  • What if you had your guild members split up into groups with the goal to complete x amount of dungeons in x amount of time and the most dungeons completed (must be the same level dungeon) by a certain group decides the winner. Rewards could vary from promotion to rare resources. 
  • I think the idea of tournaments would be cool. Setup a bracket, and have different guild members duel each other, the winner would get money, or a mount.

    Further more I joined some really entertaining hide and seek events, which might be really successful in this world.
    And I like everything with a leaderboard. I really hope for some weekly challanges  to compete against other guilds (PvE and PvP).
  • As long as we do not know what kind of guild activities will be available by the game itself, I will go with few ideas of my own.

    1. Weekly guild meetups using VR (oculus, vive, etc.). You could meet up in a AoE tavern, drink some virtual drinks, play some board/card games. Games could be similar to Gwent or Hearthstone type of games. This is a rough example. This would make an easier way to meet up with a guild member who is tons of miles away irl.

    2. Following the 1st point I would like to go even deeper. Imagine there would be Verra world championship of x game in a tavern. Every guild could delegate one player to the worlds. The winner of the championship could go on the Hall of Fame or w/e + the winning guild could earn some extra rewards.

    I'm enjoying everyone's ideas, some I never even thought of, the Hide and Seek event sounds awesome, The guild "sponsoring" of a potential champion, to put into a championship, also sounds fun. 

    So, many good ideas, keep them coming! 
  • In addition to that already mentioned. Mock battles, trade runs/caravan, raid caravan, boss hunt, freehold/barn raising, craft fair.

  • Hunting a specific player: chose a player (not from your guild) and start a hunt, whoever finds and kills that player first gets a reward from guild treasury (target player must die, failed attempts don't count)

    I completely agree, I am a huge pvp player that also loves good pve content. I’d also like to see a base of operations for guilds, in my opinion it would complement the fantasy and ideology of the game.
