Quality of Loot from Bosses

After last night's podcast, I started thinking about boss drops again. An idea that was mentioned that I really liked was having bosses drop a part of a weapon/armor so there would be no reason to fight it more than once. For world bosses I don't know how this would work. My main question is, will the boss loot end up being "the almighty armor/weapons," or will crafted weapons and armor be able to scale and be just as good. Depending if bosses will spawn more than once or only a few times, would that put players without the boss drops at a "disadvantage."(I don't think players would be at a disadvantage because there would probably be other weapons that would work just as well, but I'm just being the devil's advocate here). Would you guys want boss armor/weapons to be superior or do you think that crafted weapons should be of equal power?

    They will be the same. That being said some crafted gear will need mats that only bosses drop.
  • so it is like a monster hunter system then tbh that would probably be the best system but each boss should have a difficulty rating so people know how many players are needed for it etc
