Hi Hi! I had a question and was wondering if some one could answer it for me. Will there be the ability to download addons into the game? I find that it helps a lot with RP. World of Warcraft makes use of the addon system really well, and I think if Ashes of Creation got into addons too; it would be able to make use of rich programs like TRP3 (TotalRolePlay 3) and help people get more immersed in the lore and story of the game. What are your thoughts? :)

    I do not think they want addons but it would be cool if there was such a feature for RP in the game.

    They are specifically looking to NOT open up the API or allow addons because that functionality is one way gold sellers and bots get a toehold into automating the game. Sad fact is that while there are many valid and useful functions that addons might add to quality of life issues, the potential negatives are far greater.

    If addons are not allowed, one can always create a profile on https://rpfind.me/ for their characters, and there's already a section/category opened up for AOC.

    As far as supporting community developed Web tools they have said tentatively yes.  As far as in game UI enhancements they can't say at the moment.

    I was under the impression there were trying to keep addons out. However, as for the Wiki, the answer is "generally no" for addons but mentions "...for in-game can't say atm" in context of web tools.

    I would prefer no user content. On the other hand I know that a lot of players won't play a game that doesn't let them mod it.
