What sorts of things do we think Intrepid will keep track of on the server side? I know Steven has said in interviews that there will be something like a score board for dungeons for the more competitive types (pre-alpha interview to clarify), and I'm wondering what else could possibly be scored.

Personally I'm hoping to see some kind of game-record for longest-established metropolis, or the one that has successfully defended against the most sieges or something.

    We know that there are plans for ladders and leaderboards, and not for just your standard speedruns and most kills type. They said they want to go a non-traditional route. What is going to be interesting is the reaction of people over "world firsts" since there seems to be a market for this kind of player. Since there is no connection between servers, even in the same region, and no guarantee that content that appears on one server will ever appear on a different one, there is bound to be tons of salty tears, and ointment for butthurt applied when the US West people kill Murkkirkle the OgreGod and the EU server hasn't ever seen him. "It isn't fair, they got to have multiple runs at him, and we have never even seen him here!" or vice versa.

    They're just gonna have to develop and explore more of their world so they can be the first to find and defeat DeathScale the Dread.
