MMORPG.COM is running a "Player's Choice" poll on the most wanted MMO.  Ashes of Creation isn't currently in the lead, but it's in the running for the top spot.  Go vote...

    As much as I would love to spread the word of our savior the peeps that usually come here from that site ask why they can't download it, and when they are told how long out it is, they disappear.

    Also, email spambots like USE eluded to.

    When I don't want to give out my email address, I use a junk account specifically created for the purpose.  Problem solved.  Not telling you to do that and go vote.  Just offering a suggestion to ease the email spam issue.

    It dropped but it is in second place which is still quite good, I am happy that AOC is ranked so high in most wanted.

    @Possum thanks for making the post and love your Banner especially the part where it says Old gamers never die they just feign death. :)

    I also use dummy emails for junk mail and signing up to new websites.

    I came up with the concept for the signature, but @Kumary put it together for me.  :)  I actually have a signature rotator and alternate between that signature and one that @Morriganna made for me.

    Have a trash e-mail that you give away to crap like this. Also helpful in stores and stuff.

    Though to be fair to this particular site, I don't think my trash e-mail got any spam from them, you just check off all the newsletter check marks when you register. Still wouldn't use your primary though.

    My personal hope would be that if Ashes wins some polls on MMORPG the people who write for their site will do a bit more research on Ashes, leading to better articles, leading to people arriving from that site being less confused when they get here ;p

    Come vote! Pantheon is at 24% and Ashes is at 21%.

    The staff and writers for MMORPG love Ashes. A lot of skeptical people have warmed up to the game as Intrepid has shown incredible progress. I think with the glut of crowd-funded MMOs, and a few failed or questionable projects, some skeptical gamers are leery. I've been a member of the site for over a decade and am an early KS backer for Ashes.

    The best thing we can do is show support for the game and present ourselves as a decent inviting mmo community. We want our game to be "massively" multiplayer and the best way to do that is bring more gamers in. Just an opinion.

    Anyway, these polls are just for fun and a little friendly community competition. :sunglasses:

    I wanted it on the list too. PG is too small and under the radar for the masses I think. I love PG and I'm a little concerned that it will end up the one of the coolest most underrated under-recognized MMORPG of the decade.

    Doh they had not scrubbed the final tally yet earlier they just posted the final result.

    Turns out we came in 2nd Place after last scrub.

    It was real close 2nd is still great guys, and worth celebrating. Which is ironic cause I was telling Pantheon that 2nd was still great earlier.

    Both great games with different target crowd one more PVP and one more PVE so I think its great both did so well and over shadowed the rest.
