A Unique PvP Mode

In MMOs like EQ and WoW you can scroll into first person. Hopefully the same function will be available in ashes.

I think it would be cool to see a arena mode where everyone is locked into first person.

Thoughts?

    What would be the point in locking others into that mode, you can't see what they see?

    I don't see why you would need to be locked in to first person mode why not have the choice of deciding what perspective you want to see with.

    The point would be. To see the rogue behind you you actually need to look. If it was a feature and you wanted the choice you would simply play another mode. And first person would be more immersive as you would be seeing the world through your characters eyes. It cuts out being able to peek around corners with a highly zoomed out camera

    Not as a unique mode, but just something to do with your friends just to have fun, like wargames or some custom made lobbys for arenas. That people can host themselves.

    While I see the idea behind it I still have to say No. I personally HATE first person view and being forced into it would be a bad experience.

    If first person view was identical to my actual viewing field I would be down. Seems like this is just an attempt to give backstabbers advantage.

    Your not wrong. My main idea behind was for people to be aware and look around like u do in fps matches

    Ideally that would be awesome, but that feature I think would be more natural (and obviously enforced) in a VR game. That said, if IS ever makes a VR port, I see there being specific arenas for VR thus granting you a first person locked mode.

    Locking into first person would be ridiculous, if people want to they should be able to do so, but forcing something on others is a big NO, though I do understand the idea and where your coming from with it.
