Dressing for the weather?
I know some might find this a pain, but should we have the need to dress for the change in weather?
If its summertime, then your not wearing heavy outfits, if it's the middle of winter, your wearing more than just your armor.
IMO maybe have it if your not dressed properly, you take a hit to your stats. You don't die or anything like that, but you not fighting at 100% if your not dress for the weather.

This might be fun, it's certainly realistic, but it could just end up being another grind you have to do prior to entering an area.
I could go either way with it...
This would, imo, alter play styles and gear builds too much.
For cosmetic purposes my character will probably dress for the weather, I like putting heavy cloaks and hats on for rain events. But to alter someones stats, that's a bit too much for a fantasy RPG imo.
In bdo there is a slight version of this is the desert. The one place ive never and will never go. In survivals its always welcome. But we already have a corruption system affecting peoples stats. To add this mechanic would maybe to much for some people, imo.
I do love the way bdo handled the light survival aspects for the Valencia update. The light survival gameplay was designated to just that area and nowhere els.
The light preparations were fun and not overbearing, like drinking water during the day to stay cool or hot tea at night to stay warm. You also needed a tent for shelter against desert storms and a compass to navigate. Plus they had treasure hunting by digging in the sand.
Something like this would be a geat expansion later down the road.
