Epic Weapons

add this to the “it is way to early to know” category, but i hope at sometime there will be a epic weapons quest similar to EQ.  Mine as a mage took months and i couldn’t have been prouder to achieve it. Even when it became an obsolete item i still flaunted it.  

whether it was the bard sword that had notes falling off it, mages skittle maker, or druids leaf blower... all were awesome and unique and distinguished.

I know with 64 classes it would be difficult, but maybe the 8 archtypes with a given flavor of the secondary would be pretty neat.

just my two cents and would like to hear yours!

    I meant more of a class specific quest for a weapon ...obviously there is epic rewards for epic effort.

    I think would be truly interesting! Although with all the other stuff they plan on putting in may be something that comes later? Id be all for getting something like that. Even if it is just skin!

    Epic weapons are a must, it's not fantasy without epic weapons !

    I hope we see them too! I'm betting the materials will be dropped from rare bosses and then need to be crafted. Only thing I'm a little disappointed in learning about are armor sets that provide bonuses based on the quantity of pieces acquired. This restricts classes to specific builds and takes away the appeal of mixing and matching gear.

    Not really, there will be options to change your outward appereance while keeping your gear intact, set bounses are actually a good thing since people will actually attempt to gather the entire sets especially if they are quite the distance from each other and/or hidden

    I think it would be cool to have class specific quest lines that are going to end up with getting like a class-specific mount or an item.

    Eh these types of class specific quests with items at the end are great and all but then you see flocks of people walking around with 'powerful' 'artifacts' (like in wow the legion questline where you get an artifact weapon) these types of items should be hard to aquire, not after completing something like a storyline.

    Actually rather than class-exclusive items, race exclusives would make a lot more sense tbh.
