Hi everyone from Grandad,
Yes, I am a Grandad. In real life.
Not going to say exact age.
But let's say half a century
Believe me when I say I was around before computers were around.
We did not have memory sticks to play games, we had sticks from trees
My first computer was a Nascom of which I programmed my own text-based dungeons and dragons games on, with ASCII characters making pictures, etc, etc.
I have only ever really found one MMO that I liked and stuck with for over 8 years now.
Of which being Lord of the Rings Online.
I still play it now, yet it has become a grind and a play to win.
One personal thing that puts me off of MMO's is PvP.
Now I respect those that like PvP, yet personally I prefer PvE.
Also, I am a bit of a loner. Keep myself to myself, just exploring, etc.
Yet love watching other characters do their thing online.
So I am really looking forward to playing this game with you all as it seems to tick all the boxes for an excellent MMO.
Just hope it ain't too long. Seems like they are saying 2 years away
