Lets say a volcano erupts and surrounding that volcano is a city, if the eruption of that volcano is strong enough, will that city burn to the ground... if that was possible, a scenario like that is what make Ashes of Creation most attractive to me.

    They have stated that certain mechanics will affect cities. We do have a quote that world bosses will have mechanics that will affect nodes in various ways, but nothing confirmed on node destruction. We do know that monster coin events may damage infrastructure, but will not delevel a node.

    That would be an interesting quest though, saving the city by digging trenches and making the lava flow around the city to some where else.
