Pre-Purchase Alternatives

It would be awesome if there were pre-purchase options that included mostly physical swag from the shop. I don't really want to commit to spending money on virtual widgets or in-game currency so far in advance. I do, however, absolutely love to frivolously spend my money on things like hoodies and tee shirts pretty much all the time.

If there was a top-tier option with an assortment of swag + early access I would gladly cash in. It might set an interesting precedent for future MMOs, too.

Just puttin' it out there.

    I like this idea, I too would be more willing to buy in further if one of the packages included a hoodie. In fact, as much as I want one, I have not been persuaded to buy one yet and that could be the tipping point.

    Unfortunately 'affordable' is open to interpretation and depends on the value one places on an object. Many believe the options are affordable, many believe they are not.

    Here's the thing.

    Unlike most games where the "pre-order" packs are basically "Pay this now or you you'll be behind on day 1" nothing in the pre-order packs gives you an advantage.

    It is great that IS is upholding their non P2W idea with these packages, regarding physical goods like hoodies and stuff there will probably be more of that in the future :3
