EQ grouping?

Hi Gang!  I just wanted to see what others though about this.  From the open world concept instead of instancing, I see a grouping system close to that of EQ (maybe without as much of the grind).  The idea of multiple groups in a single area, working on rotations of mob spawns.  Then once a named boss spawned, you would see a guild enter in zone to wipe him out while the other groups just continued on. 

I am old school and  I for one loved it and without general chat might be hard concept.  It brings me back to Karnors Castle those who played EQ

Do you guys/girls see something like this as how it will play and is it something you would like?

    I come Eq/EQ2 background, a lot of the Dev team also worked on Both everquests, I can totally see a lot of the same idea's/concepts being talked about and even worked into the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see some nods payed towards the Everquest world either. But Yes like you who was an Eq player I can see things of that nature happen in Ashes of Creation.
