Do you feel cheated? Alpha Zero raffles!

Do you feel cheated that someone that has paid $0 towards the development of this game has the same chance, or more if they have multiple social media accounts, getting into Alpha Zero as someone that has backed the game financially, be it $1 or $10,000?

No, whether you're wealthy or not, you should still be able to win a key. Wouldn't it suck if you had no money and was told that there would never be a chance to get into A0?

Nope I'm ok with  that. There are so many Accounts,  it's hard to get a key. In my opinion it's nearly impossible to get another key.

In the normal weekly raffle's people who backed the game actually have a much higher chance than people who haven't, At the beginning of this year they introduced this system

• All website account holders get one entry into each weekly draw.
• All Kickstarter and Summer backers automatically receive 15 additional entries into each weekly drawing.

Current Store Packages also receive bonus entries into the drawings

• Wayfarer Pre-Order Pack - 4 entries
• Expeditionary Pre-Order Pack - 6 entries
  
• Voyager Pre-Order Pack - 8 entries
  
• Intrepid Pre-Order Pack - 10 entries

For each social media account you subscribe or follow, you will gain an additional chance to help us test our Pre-Alpha builds! All you need to do is subscribe or follow our official YouTube , Twitch , Twitter or Facebook .



So at the end of the day you have a much better chance to get into alpha 0 if you backed the game. (although with how many backer's ashes of creation actually has the chance is still pretty bloody low)

My question is why you would feel cheated... Your not missing out on anything. The alphas (0 included) and betas are testing phases not an early access product.

If/when you spent money supporting Ashes, you knew what you were getting therefore that's the bottom line imho. People's finances shouldn't come into it as far as opportunities go.

Luck of the draw, supporting the project shouldn't give you any sense of entitlement.

When I'm the banker, I cheat at Monopoly. One time I hid 2 $100 under a $10 and handed it to my sister. She the could afford to buy a hotel which I then landed on and bankrupt me.

I'm not a good cheater.

Would it not be worse if you had "no money" and be able to play Alpha 0 and not be able to afford to pay the monthly sub?

Well poor ppl can't play AOC aniway because they cant afford the monthly sub. But other than that you are right that its ok that also non backers have a chance. As said bevore its also a bit less than for us backers.

Not at all. Raffles should be for all and fair. I will get what I paid for Alpha 1 and forward. It was always said Alpha 0 would be raffle based. They never cheated or told us otherwise.

Absolutely not. It creates diversity in the game. I'll go as far as saying that even finding that to be unfair, is a bit.. well meh I won't go that far:P

No, I don't feel cheated.  Besides the raffle drawings there were other events that awarded keys like the Halloween event - everyone that entered got a key even though it was announced that only the winners would.  Everyone that attended the Pax East Forum got a key.  Just participate that's the best way.

Not me, I will feel cheated if i don't get the access that comes with my pledge. 
Also my R.N.G absolutely sucks so I don't get my hope up anyway.
