Aha! Yes! I heard it said today that most modern MMO's are built on hype. But AoC is built on hope.
It's both disheartening that that's where MMO's are at, apparently, but also quite a testament to how much love seems to be going into this project.
This might be the first project I've seen in a while that seems to have the goal of making money so they can keep the creative process going, as opposed to exploiting their creation for money.
