I'm not sure if there is a post about it already but anyway I was wondering just how much leeway will players get in terms of movement, will we be able to climb walls and buildings and if yes then to what extent or will there be any restrictions on it like armor type (heavy, medium, light) or the class.

Personally I think that some sort of parkour type movements would be good but only for certain classes and would need to have a low weight to do so. I definately wouldn't want to see players being able to jump on everything with relative ease similary to how in most eastern mmo's you can access almost any place by jumping onto it.

    They have said that certain classes (speculation...rogue) will have the ability to climb certain areas. They will not be able to climb everything.(livestream about dropping out of trees on people) Nothing has been said about weight affecting movement or different armor types. From the latest livestream we know that heavy armor will block mainly physical damage from the example Steven gave of why a mage may not want to wear heavy armor.

    In one of the early gameplay demos they did show a rogue being able to climb walls.  And like the previous poster said, this would only apply to certain classes most likely.
