Greetings everyone,
I'm guessing like many people following AoC (not the first time I've used that letter combination for an online game) I've been playing MMOs since the 1990's and have been mostly disappointed with the smattering of WoW clones (no matter how well-polished) since 2004. Some very promising titles have come and gone but nothing has held my attention since those early MMOs.
So here I am hoping that AoC will be different. I'm very interested in the features being promised, though I'm hesitant to pre-order right now (some of those options seem pretty pricey for Alpha/Beta access and a few digital items and game time). Going forward, I'll be searching for a guild and catching up on the game updates. And like the title says, hopefully this is it and AoC will be different then what has come before...
