Glorious Alpha Two Testers!
Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Playing as a mob/monster

With this node system, I think that it would be awesome if a player could assume a role of a mob/monster.
For instance, a zone/node starts off populated by goblins. Once a PC discovers/participates/kills goblins - basically whatever might trigger this. A select few PCs will get the option to log in as something like a "Goblin Champion". Maybe this is just a tougher Goblin, maybe there is a simple level system that just ups damage/health, maybe this goblin has some goblin minions that are pets of the champion, maybe it has a few basic skills/abilities that the PC who triggered the event has. Regardless, the "Goblin Champion" should be a permadeath (or limited shelf-life) mob that rewards the PC's account by being played well.
