Time for some new lore! (I was reading the ghost town thread and it gave me an idea)
Verra was a peaceful world until the aliens arrived and tried to take over the planet. To make it easy on themselves, the aliens introduced a virus to Verra. The virus turned everyone into zombies and they ate each other. All went according to plan and after all the Verrans were dead, the aliens landed. A few Tulnar escaped, but that's another story. The aliens built temporary homes and set up shop until more permanent buildings could be erected. However, the alien plan had a fatal flaw that no one expected. Verra was a world of magic where anything was possible. The Verrans which had become zombies came back as the undead and they wanted their planet back! The aliens, who had no experience with magic, fought back. Hand to hand this time with no virus to help them. Their advanced weapons and technology were useless against the undead who could phase through walls and become immaterial at will. Verra was saved! But was it? Verra was a planet of the undead now. After several centuries the undead decayed and rotted away leaving only the Tulnar.
