Ahoy and welcome!

Introduction

Our clan the Voen Republic will be devoted to keeping the environment drama free and helpful. We are proud to have our supreme power held by the players elected representatives rather than a dictator. Looking to the future our ambition is to be one of the most significant European clans in whichever path our community guides us.

It's our hope that the clans peculiar leadership sparks ambition and interest in many travelers in search for a clan. Everyone will have the chance to rise to the very pinnacle of our ranks and help lead the clan into greatness!

Rank System;

Consul

As Consul you are required to attend and summon assembly's where vital decisions will be decided. A Consul is the highest authority in the clan with the power to organize and condemn. The number of Consuls within the clan at one time will be capped at three players. Consuls aren't permanent and serve a 6 month term before being re-elected by popular vote within the ranks of Senator. As Consul your primary goal is to lead the clan into further greatness.

Senator

As a Senator you are required to attend assembly's where vital decisions will be decided. The number of Senators within the clan will be determined by 20% of the clans 'active' population; should the clans population increase so to will the number of Senators within the clan. Senators aren't permanent and serve a three month term before being re-elected by popular vote within all ranks of the clan sept the rank of Traveler. As Consul your primary goal is to lead the clan into further greatness.

Command

With the rank of Command it is your duty to lead a team of warriors within the clan. With a charismatic and disciplined behavior, you will manage your team of warriors with an efficiency that gives the best result. Command can always be looked upon for guidance in times of war. Command is awarded to a Veteran for having the above described qualities, Command is also the highest permanent rank achievable.

Veteran

Proficient warriors that have developed a deep sense of respect for their comrades and found friendly competition in bettering themselves. Veterans have fought numerous battles and can be heavily relied upon. This rank is awarded to only the best of Auxiliaries who show the above described qualities.

Auxiliary

An Auxiliary is a player keen to take up the sword and follow a military career within the clan. Weather expanding or defending our borders, Auxiliaries make up the back bone of the clans military power. This rank is awarded to those who fight in the clans battles.

Craftsman

The clan is in need of skilled laborers. Those who have mastered and honed their skills are granted the title and rank of Craftsman. Requires high or max level within any skill beneficial to the clan or its members. It is a Craftsman's duty to be at the forefront of the clans race to arms; our smiths, fletchers and enchanters work tirelessly to be the best at their professions.

Bard

A player that's dedicated to boosting the moral and spirit of other players. A good bard will tell tales and story's of adventure and generally make merry long into the evening. A bard is simply a player that logs in regularly and blethers away to their heart content within the clans chat systems.

Traveler

New players that have traveled to our lands in search for security, work and companionship. A less ambitious player may spend many months as a Traveler within our clan. Traveler is the only rank unable to vote during elections or be granted access to the basic clan facilities including storage.

The Veto System:

Both Consul and Senator have the right to use one veto every 2 months. Should a suggested change to the clan be brought to a vote during assembly, a player can use their veto to deny the motion before it is voted upon. A pause will be given to give chance for a veto to be used before continuing to a vote. Should the vote start or end, it is to late for the veto to be used and the outcome will be final. A motion that has been vetoed will have to wait til the next assembly before being suggested or put up to a vote again. If you do not use your veto powers within 2 months the power will not stack, you will only ever be able to use one every 2 months. Veto isn't a power we encourage you to use, it can be very disruptive, however it is available as a fail safe should you need it.
