Cartography Perhaps?

One of my favorite things in RPG's in exploring and finding points of interest off the beaten paths.  Especially finding places people haven't found before.

One mechanic I've not seen in any game, is to be able to place more then one mark (which is not temporary) on the main map.

Having permanent map markers on ones main map would be a nice thing to have.

Considering the sandbox and large nature of Verra, perhaps being able to make (maybe even sell) in game maps to locations might be a suggestion.  Or maybe even being able to build map tables for ones home, instead of using the main map.

  • I'm not sure if its confirmed but someone will correct me if I'm not. but I think  Steven said that cartography is one of the crafting trees or at least a subclass. I could be completely wrong but I think I'm right

    Sweeet!
  • There is also the possibilty to make you be able to simply sell the discovered regions on the map, and leave the markers and everything else the same.
  • IF they do manage to get this in, it will be an amazing feature

if only we could get book writing so we could sell atlases ^^
  • Just remember that Verra is a world in flux, and that features will change over time.

That just makes it easier to sell new editions
