Halloween-adjacent in-game invasion. Prop-hunt-goblins

Here's the idea I have for a Halloween-adjacent in game holiday. The idea is that there is a goblin invasion, sorta cutesy goblins almost Box Trolls like. The idea being that they're only there to pickpocket and steal from vendors the treat's they make for the fall festival.
Prop Hunt is a very fun niche game mode that's grown from the modding community, and I think this is a perfect fit now that I've seen them embrace the ability in their Test Environment. Its really fun in short bursts, and if done in short bursts everyone kinda loses their edge, and its not a super skill defining game of hide'n seek that stresses you out, so much as a fun game.
I think the game can leverage the mode with the Monster Token system to create a seasonal cosmetic item/event that has not only the appeal of holloween and these goblin monsters, but also the appeal of having a skill-testing cosmetic. This is a competitive game mode that rewards skill, and is a blast.
The concept can also be tuned to be edgier. They could have slow to activate abilities, say like they juggle a crossbow bolt back, while they're in a barrel and they show through the animation a "tell" that gives away the prop, as a goblin but then kills a NPC shop keeper, and then other goblins can loot their shop, get away and get rewarded a cosmetic.
