If i buy a pack will i get access to AoC right away or is the testing not live?

    You can still by packs for the game but you will be missing alpha 1 all the other packs are still available

    The current availability that can be purchased is A2 which is estimated to start Q3 of 2019. The current testing is still in A1P1 stress testing and is in a Battle Royale format to test action combat and server load only. The official start of A1P1 should be soon. The good news is that they have said that they will open up the A1P1 BR experience to all people that have an account on this site (this means you) about a month after that for a limited time to further stress test the server load. So you will be able to down load and play the current test for free about month after A1P1 officially starts. (estimated early Nov now)

    You're still quite early on the ashes scene if ashes is as successful as we hope it to be. Just keep an eye on the forums and discord and keep looking out for opportunities.
    Intrepid has for the most part offered unique cosmetics for almost all of their events and you'll be able to play the open testing phase with the chance of winning something.
    Plus considering that all the kickstarter backers will mostly likely be using the kickstarter skins it will make those earned from open events a tad less common in game perhaps? ;)
