Religion + Cooking = Sunday Bake Sale?

I've been thinking about quests lately. How will we get religious quests? In the tavern??
Isn't the tavern the opposite of religion? That's where you go to drink and gamble and sin and stuff. Do we go to church to get religious quests? That would make more sense.

Can we hang out at church? How? Like, at the bake sale?
"Whaaat?" Said my brain. "Will there be bake sales in Ashes?? Friday fish frys? Bingo? "

The other side of my brain replied, "Well, there's cooking, and religion, and parlor games, so.. religion + cooking = cupcakes!! Bake sale!"

There are temples that can be placed by the mayor of the node.

Completely wrong. Without religion there's no civilization. Religion caused people to become sustainable societies. Without it people would have become villages of clans, then cities, then civil war would have broken up the cities. Eventually, people would realize there's no point in forming cities if they were going to erupt in civil war anyway. To this day the world would be a bunch of clans fighting and killing each other. Also, the world would not be where it is today technologically. It took large amounts of people sharing knowledge with each other to get us where we are today.  Religion was the great unifier that allowed peace to reign until governments and laws could form. This led to co-operation between minds and people of varied backgrounds and the future we have today. Religion's great power was bringing peace to the world. Eventho  some religions still disagree with each other and fight, those religions are dying out and the world continues to become more peaceful.  Religion has been incredibly important to the evolution of human civilization.

And that's all I have to say  about that.

There are not billions of atheists in the world. Almost all studies put it at far less then 1 billion. Yet it is estimated that 1/3 of the worlds population are Christians (only one of the many religions). So it would seem your recommendations are wrong.

I was only trying  to put the numbers in perspective I know I have no ability to change your thought process on your own beliefs and was not even attempting to do so. My only point was that there seems to be more people who believe in some sort of religion compared to atheism. 

I must be wrong but I was under the impression that you would need 2 billion or more to use the term billions. If I am mistaken on this I apologize.
