Not enough Youtube subs to get into Ashes of creation

Shame,  My Youtube channel "Game Chase" didn't get enough subscribers to land that invitation. we currently have 35 subscribers but we needed a minimal of 100, which is sad..I hope to one day earn enough subscribers to be considered an ashes of creation subscriber. I also plan to buy into pre-release so I can make my Guild and reserve my name which is very important to me. Wait for my Ashes, you are everything to me and I'll find a way in I swear!

If you haven't yet, you should get the link to you channel up on the boards here someplace. People just browsing should bump into and bump your numbers a bit.

I myself have a channel with 2400+ subs, but unfortunately it is for gardening and not gaming.. haha.. but it's cool. I'll make another channel when Ashes gets further a long and with more mmo content. Lots of time still till lunch.

Well you need to work at it. Dont expect freebies if you dont put the work into it.

Requirements for joining the Content Creator Program include any of the following:

• Being the owner of a YouTube channel with at least 5k subscribers.
• Being the owner of a Twitch, Mixer or Twitter channel with at least 5k followers.
• Any and all requirements listed here are subject to exception by Intrepid.

100 was an old target number for youtube itself to open up some creator features, but a bit ago it was boosted to 1000 subs needed.. I believe, it's been a while since I looked it up. The 1000 might just be for monetization and adsense linking and setup.

One of the features is the ability to change the link of the channel to a custom name like:

[ https://www.youtuube.come/c/channelname ] instead of the random string at the end.

Ah yes, now it is 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time.

Being a YouTube Partner eligible for monetization however doesn't tie in with being a content creator.   We have Official Content Creators who don't have the money making machine option.
