Running a tavern
When I heard that there was going to be an option to run a tavern, I got really excited. My only concern was that the taverns were going to be dead, and without life. I think the devs managed this problem very well, as the easiest way to get buffs will be to buy food and beverages from taverns (at least to my knowledge). When I saw this, I got even more excited, and now I'm almost sure that I am going to open one, as soon as I establish the needed resources to do so.
I sincerely hope the taverns will be a place for people to meet and chat, and not just a place to quickly swing by because players need some buffs for their journey. I've always enjoyed RP'ing in games, because you feel like a part of the world that not just the devs, but also the players have created. Opening a tavern will hopefully help people look at the community, and not just the "end goal". The most important part of any journey isn't the destination at the end, but the journey you had to go through to get there. To me, immersion is one of the factors that draws me to the MMORPG genre, and since this is such a great community, I really look forward to inhabiting Verra and help making it a living, breathing place.
The biggest reason I've made this post, is because I need a name for the Inn. Namecalling is something I really enjoy, but this time, it has made me hit a wall when it comes to creativity. If you have a good name for a Empyrean Elven tavern, please feel free to drop it in the answers.

If we could create something similar in Ashes, I'd be overjoyed
As for name suggestions, how about "The Prancing Squirrel"?^^
I think that taverns will be the places where siege maps can be opened and inspected, if the tavern has levelled up sufficiently. So the people planning various attacks will gather at taverns.
I also believe that taverns will be the locations where Bounty Hunters can open their maps to find where corrupted players are, so they can be hunted. Taverns will also be able to post rewards for the elimination of the corrupted players.
Perhaps the taverns will also be the places to post notices for guilds, raids, caravans and other activities. In other words, like you I hope that taverns will be hubs of activities. I am looking forward to it very much.
There is a tavern in Galway, Ireland named The King's Head. It was opened with the money paid to the executioner of an English King. Perhaps in-game events will spawn names?
