Rogue Stealth

How hard or easy will it be to spot a rogue in stealth? I hope not too easy otherwise it makes the ability useless in PVP. I'm looking at going Rogue as my main just not sure if I'll do assassin or predator. Maybe if you are an assassin you have improved stealth. Or there is an augment that improves the ability.

    Look at one of the streams. The stealth you see in the BR will most likely mirror the stealth in the mmo.

    Yeh only info we have at the moment is the stealth from the BR mode, which you will be able to test yourself soon. In my opinion what it is now is pretty good and different to what MMO's typically have, seems like you have to pay attention to how and where you move, time of day that kind of thing for example you'll probably get spotted if you just run up too someone from straight ahead of them.

    We probably won't get absolute stealth where the only way to see the player is when they break it themselves, right now if you look closely at stealth players you can see the outline slightly 'w'

    There is at least one class which can get a skill/spell which, when cast in an area, will reveal hidden items and players.

    There is an opposite skill, probably a Ranger skill, which allows the character to assume the visual aspect of an object like a tree or bush.  Plant yourself by the trail and wait for an unescorted caravan to come near. 

    Yes, you would then be an amBush.

    Like @TauTau said, Tanks have the ability to see invisible enemies.
    And if you look close enough, then you can even see people in invis inside of the current Alpha
    (It is really hard but you can see the contrast - looks like the star craft invis/Heroes of the Storm)

    It would be cool if they added something to where if you don't move you are truly invisible and once you move it switches to the predator type of stealth. My fear is that it will be easy to spot once you are use to seeing the visuals that it makes stealth ehhh.

    If they did that then Rogues would become pretty campy. Especially with the subclass "Predator" (Rogue/Hunter) ;D
