Is the mmo version going to adopt the PLAYER PERSPECTIVE of apocalypse version ?

I seriously want to see the 3rd person perspective like in the apocalypse version in the mmorpg version. >.<

    The UI will be customizable to some degree, but I'm not sure a completely clean interface like the above screenshot will really work well in an MMO.
    There is generally too much to track in an MMO to be able to completely hide UI elements at all times.

    I'm pretty sure the MMO is going to be third person.  What game play footage we've seen form Intrepid Studios so far in various live streams has always been from a third person perspective.

    the player perspective of apocalypse version is way better than the mmo.

    That just looks like he's zoomed out further than Apocalypse allowed and the camera is more centered.  The camera being a little off center would probably help for the action combat elements of the game so maybe that will be customizable.

    I think the idea is to make it adjustable. Players who have a more action playstyle will probably want to play more zoomed in like APOC to aim and players who are playing more tab target style will be able to zoom out like most tab target games now. 

    I'm with you though, i find the more zoomed in perspective of apoc to be more immersive but feel like i should zoom out as much as possible because the advantage i gain from being able to see more.

    @Arzosah if they want to fully utilize its combat capability they should adopt it, the apocalypse version is so sick already from color,texture,player perspective to combat mechanics.

    You will be able to zoom in and out. It will not be set as only apoc point of view. At least this has been Intrepids take so far.

    @McStackerson i just hate the tab target idea because it has low player interaction and that miss mechanics is trash(miss message popping up without doing anything ,just have some fucking high evasion stats)

    The system is going to be hybrid, so we'll just have to wait and see how everything works out in the end.
