Hi,
Im currently almost at the end of making something and was wondering what ingredients or reagents you would like to see in potion making within AOC.

Thanks x

Outside of range of default stuff. Underwater weeds + unique for one node ingredients + dungeon ingredients. (E.g. corals + tree that grows only in one node will provide leaves + dungeon spider web).

a Growth Potion that increases your Character's size and hitbox, so you can better bodyblock projectiles as a Tank to protect your allies.

Then we also need a shrinking potion, and that would be really op.
Not op if a shrinking potion gives you a debuff, making you really weak, and the growth potion makes you slower xD
  • Well guess that depends on type of potion being made. Potion of speed would likely have ingredients from some very fast magical creature but not a turtle. Also potions think should have mix and match. For example if you wanted a potion that granted some type of shield then you would have common ingredients but then have ingredients from a turtle or rhino or dragon scals or earth elemental each with varying degrees of difficulty. So dragon scales would be rare but have a huge shield buff but turtles on decent sheild. Sheild buff.

Think it is good way to work in rare mats into potions.

I would like to see ingredients come from different environments let some ingredients only be found in specific biomes as indicated on the recent map reveal. Other trades can produce them minerals, gems, creature parts, allow some to be farmed by players on their freeholds.

While at first some ingredients may seem to be nearly impossible to obtain as the game matures and people learn where and when to obtain ingredients thus turning a coin from it a market and economy will evolve. This is my hope at least.
