Mounts and Travel

Has there been any indication of mount types and are portal type travel being discussed or would this likely be a topic for a later time when expansions will be introduced?

    there are 4 main types of mounts we know of so far

    normal mounts - horses
    gliding mounts - dawn breaker
    flying mounts - dragons (only rulers of nodes or castle can use these)
    group mounts

    as for portals, there is not fast travel in ashes apart from the level 6 science node

    Thank you Nagash. So some mounts will be available through a hierarchy or status structure, that's a new twist that I haven't seen. I wonder if more mounts will have status requirements.

    these are just the main classes, there are a ton more subclasses and players can breed mounts to get even better ones

    There are also Mule-type mounts, that can carry more resources than normal mounts. Like the Dawn Strider
    oh, and aquatic mounts

    There are also Mule-type mounts, that can carry more resources than normal mounts. Like the Dawn Strider

    Same here, one of the very enjoyable things about Archeage was the gilders. So i am hoping the gliding mounts go some way towards this, maybe not as instant as the AA gliders though.
