Are there any plans for Intrepid Studios to be in attendance at GamesCon 2019 in Cologne?

They were there last year though
Edit: Wow I commented my own comment instead of editing, clever me
Got as answer from Steven 'Not yet, but we intend to give you ample notice.'
I just hope IS tell us asap.. got my tickets anyway but i know alot of ppl are doubting to go based on if IS will be there. letting us know at least a few weeks in advance would be nice because getting pre-order tickets will be hard then
I would hope for at least a month prior. I am going to gamescom regardless, but if people are attending only for Ashes, knowing in advance would be awesome
Wasn't it just one specific convention? I believe it was this years Pax east
I believe the question was specific to PAX East, but he answered in general terms stating conventions were not on the radar currently due to time costs to the development team that he wanted to concentrate on development.
That's fair enough, but if they want to be successful they also need to do advertising and PR for the game (something that is rather lacking right now). Conventions are one of the best ways to get the word out about your game. Yes they had a good showing at PAX last year but with the sheer amount of games released since then I doubt many people remember Ashes of Creation.
Regardless of the decision, sooner is better than later (and hopefully it has nothing to do with the euro region falling under my.com or something).
you sound surprised.
1. they don't care much about the EU (looks at my.com)
2. they disclike the forums
