Please tell me that the troll is a pet that have made to the wrong section and that the backpack can be worn.
If not what are they?

    Everything is a cosmetic. I don't think the troll is in the wrong section. I have a feeling they know what they are doing. I'm not even sure what you mean with wrong section. I think the backpack is just a cosmetic. You can change the look of alot of items. Even individual parts of armors

    They are all skins with the exceptions of the pets. You must acquire the base item in game before you can skin it. This goes for boats, mounts, you name it. However the small cosmetic pets, not to be confused with those that can actually fight, are available to summon from level 1 once acquired or bought. The backpacks will follow the same system.

    I dont think they have categorised everything in the inventory yet. The troll for me shows up under other not the pet section of my inventory. I also have KS costumes that are listed under other and not under the costume & armour section.

    My "Other" section is currently 5 pages long with a lot of pets and mounts in there, as well as costumes. I still think they need to sort everything out, but I'd doubt it being at the top of their to-do list so long as all your cosmetics are showing - if not: send a ticket to support

    Maybe after the forum patch? or in a future opdate as you said

    Yeah I'd check back on the 5th when the forums have been changed :)
