Phase I of Alpha Two testing will occur on weekends. Each weekend is scheduled to start on Fridays at 10 AM PT and end on Sundays at 10 PM PT. Find out more here.

Hello,

An updated general planning with the main steps planned becomes necessary. Indeed, many have already invested for early access but no recent announcements exist (alpha 2, beta 1, beta 2, official launch).

I guess Intrepid doesn't work without planning, so why not share it?

Personally, I could be satisfied with a roadmap rounded off by quarter.

    They don't want to share date that have not been finalized. There's no point in giving out a date for Alpha testing if they can't make the date.

    i thought this was about a global world map as was asked in the last livestream xd seriously tho; after the december fiasco they are being very cautious with giving dates even if its quarterly.

    Lets be serious here: the community will always be impatient and rowdy, no matter what IS does. :D

    Too early: "There are bugs!"
    Not fast enough: "We waited long enough, we dont care for bugs!"
    Dates: "Now you HAVE to uphold them! What? You cant uphold them? Then dont post dates!"
    No Dates: "We want strict dates, and a planned development cicle, no matter, if you are not shure that you can even uphold ONE of those deadlines!"
    PvP: "I dont want to be attacked in the wild while farming!"
    No PvP: "I want to be able to attack other people in the wilderness!"

    Err...no. I didn't invest for early access to the game. I invested in the development and will help test the game when the developers are at a stage where the game needs testing. There is a big difference.

    Honestly I hate this culture we have right now of pre-orders and early access bullshit.

    I wish there was a way IS could stop forum members from making multiple accounts just to post opinions they no are not reasonable. Not saying that happened here or has happened...

    Why finalize a date if so many things can change?
    Missing a date makes the community more upset than not knowing one.
