Hey guys, I made a post about this about 3 years ago, but I haven't really been following this for a while and was wondering where it was at. For those of you "in the know" and up to date with all things Ashes. Did a quick search and didn't notice anything popping out at me.

This is regarding player and weapon collision. Early in development, I had asked if weapons were going to collide with each other and whether or not we'd be able to make shield walls and the like with our tank players. Actually being able to block other players from attacking our squishys during sieges, etc.

Any insight on how this has progressed would be appreciated. Hope to see you all in the new beta.

    I don't suppose there are any videos that show any of this in action? I've seen the earliest one's with the chest and all of that. But, I've been away for a while.

    Or, have you experienced this in Apocalypse?

    There is an early Alpha 0 video that showed dungeon play. Steven is trying to get into the room to attack the mobs but whoever is standing in front of him is blocking the door. Hilarious.

    Thanks, I'll look it up. I noticed some of the "fire wall" abilities being used together in some situations. But, that seems to be purely mage based walls rather than tank/shield walls. I'll see if I can get some time in with the Apocalypse alpha. But, from what I remember of the first one, the classes were picked via running over an icon and it was tough to really figure out some of the mechanics in a deathmatch setting.
