Hotbar disappeared after accessing inventory

After pressing 'I' to access the inventory my hotbar had disappeared.
It was still visible in the inventory screen but not the game screen.
Expected result is being able to access inventory without hotbar disappearing.
Actual result is hotbar disappearing after accessing the inventory screen.

    I had a similar thing happen except i didnt have a hotbar at all from the start of the game.
