Wait. How is changing something when going from an Alpha to a Beta a scam?

Also, do you feel the same way about the resets previously confirmed and intended to happen before release of Ashes? Or changes that should be expected from Alphas to Betas to release?

In am curious, i may have missed how this became a scam.

Did cosmetics paid for (and I think progression limits too maybe, I forget) not transfer from the testing to release? I could see why that would cause genuine concern and I would agree. If I paid for cosmetics in the beta and they were wiped and unavailable at release i would be upset.

Overall I am unhappy with the BR releasing on Steam before I even gain Alpha access to Ashes. Seems like a bait and switch, but that's just my opinion.

Not everybody made it to max level. When they original released it, they said the game with be up 24/7 and we would have 8-12 weeks to finish the adventure path. I have had about 2 weeks to finish it. Now i have to gain 32 levels before I start to unlock the stuff i didn't gain the first time and it is not like you are getting alot of xp. I got 3-4 kill, finished 4th and have the 50% bonus for solo matches. I think i got 537 xp. You need 13k to level. Yeah, weekly quests might give 6500, and daily quests give 2000, but that requires you can do them and that they work

If you paid for the extended levels based on the promise that you would have 8 weeks to finish them, and were only given 2, I agree. That would have been bad form on the side of IS. I don't know if there is really any compensation they can do unfortunately.

They, perhaps, could have determined the minimum number of levels you would have been at when you received your last cosmetic (I assume that's what it was) and figured that into the number you need to start unlocking new content. (not giving you levels, but perhaps reducing the level requirements..?)

Overall, having to play through that much content unable to unlock anything new would lessen the fun for sure. I agree, that is a bum deal. At least after the wipe before release, we all have things to look forward to earning via different/new content and an influx of players. If not, and I get all the way back to level 20 and still haven't unlocked anything new, I will for sure have your sentiment.

I suppose their goal might have been to spread it out enough so players play longer, potentially lasting until an Ashes' alpha/beta. This, of course, assumes they are still trying to complete an Ashes' alpha or beta

IS keeps screwing up one thing after another. I’m slowly losing faith that their MMO is going to be any good. I worry that they just don’t know what they’re doing.

First of I had big hopes for this game, and I jump on the summer founding. I have bought some small thing here and there, so I have spendt some money one this.

But now I feel its time to take a step back. I like action combat and i was hoping for action combat for Ashes. When it came I tought it was awful. But it was early and things would change.

When first Apoc came I tought ok this can be fun for an hour or so, and a good platform for testing action combat.

Well now that its been a year, and the action combat is still awful and we are still testing in apoc. I know they are saying that apoc testing is also testing for the mmorpg. But this is gone to far for me now. The people want to test what they came here for.
I at least dont want to run around in a BG and test action combat anymore.

I can not see where this is going.. I have lost the believe that the action combat will be good. They went for a more shooter BG style for the combat and its not good.

A year after Apoc testing started they have been using time on fixing the map and get up Invis wall were people used to get throught.

Stop this now please. I am a action combat guy, but its just not going to happen. Focus on tab targeting and get that as good as possible, and for the love of MMORPG start testing the RPG part! We are closing in on the end of 2019, this was originaly the goal for the release of the game, and they havent even manage to start testing the mmorpg by the end of 2019.

I am now starting to worry that this wount happen.

You joined the forums at about 11am today...

    So~ yeah...

    Troll.

Reason being that they made a rework to the forums and all my other post are gone.. I've been a part and even backed them in the Summer crowdfunding. But sadly the BR have turned me of the game.
