Weapon Tooltips Disappearing

While playing I noticed that my weapon tool tips would sometimes disappear but I haven't been able to replicate it consistently. Sometimes only certain images will disappear other times they all will.
To fix this I found all I have to do is use my mouse scroll wheel to switch weapons or open my inventory screen
