Blocking

Hello guys! just wanted to give some input on the blocking. Right now if you block and out of block you cant block again until the stamina regened 100% or at least thats what it seems like after testing. It feels very clunky imo and takes control from the player.

Even though you are able to block whenever (unless if stambar is 0%) its still a risk because stamina still gets drained, so i dont see the reason to force full stamregen to be able to block again.

Im not a proffessional action combat technician at all and never played games with it such as warframe etc, but ive helped with balancing melee combat in games such as Mordhau with the devs (1000+ hrs in mordhau 2700+ hrs in chivalry medieval warfare) just dont see a reason why actioncombat SHOULDN'T have a consistent defence against LMB spam which a lot of players do in apoc.

If further interest as for blocking goes, have you tried stamdrain on successfull blocks/parries instead of passive stamdrain?

To my knowledge, block drains 5 stamina per second on hold, a fixed amount on block, and has a fixed cooldown till use once dropped. Cooldown does not vary based on length held.

I think each of these are an interesting and valid way to counterbalance blocking's power but all of them together is indeed too much.
