    This seems to happen when you are close to the circle edge and look into the storm. Happens quite frequently if you don't look at ground.

    I've had this happen once on the coast, but it was just acrobatic leaping along the ground. Not slightly above, but parallel or slightly angled into the ground (making contact as if ground dashing). I took 57 damage moved 0 inches, was weird.
