Couldnt dismount and equip weapon

At the beggining of the game i landed on a mountain then then take a flight then tried to land on the ground but character didnot dimount so i kept flying on the ground level. Storm was invisible, after the storm became invis and i took some damage it dismounted but later didnt let me equip weapons, i was able to use potion and lunge. I hope that unnecessary long explanation can help you. I have a short video record of it if you need.

When you fly to the end it happens pretty often that you are not able to land fast.
When you are not able to pick up gear at the beginning you can press ctrl to squat. You will be able to loot when you are out of squat again.
