Stuck in lobby (mounted)

When the game started, i didn't get thrown into the map. I instead remained in the lobby, but on the gryphon.
I was able to move freely in the lobby on the mount (hovering) and could use the X to roll.
After about 2-3 minutes i suddenly did get thrown to the starting point of the match (which means i started high in the air on the gryphon) and was able to complete the match.
I was just standing still near the portal not moving or doing anything when the match loaded up.
